How to join the discussion.

So what kind of participation are we hoping gain with only a couple of blog posts and a sweet set of URLs?

1. What are you passionate about in social media? Is there a topic, idea, area of expertise that you would like to help craft? Wikisocial is just about the idea at this point, but if the idea connects with you, just comment and say so. If there is a part of you that would like to participate, create an account. Write a post.

2. The plan is for this to be a virtual-team collaborative. I have lots of ideas, that I am sure will be hashed out over the next few weeks. But for not I am imagining some folks being inspired by the participatory nature of the mission statement. “Through leadership we all become leaders.” So I’d rather hear some of your ideas. Right here, right in the open. Put YOUR stamp on this place. Become one of the hardcore 10 that kick this wiki down the path.

3. Start writing wikisocial.org articles. The wiki will be up soon enough. With a taxonomy that I started a week ago. But there is no reason you cannot write about what you know. Putting the article in the wiki is the easy part.

4. Just join or follow or ping. We’d like to know who stopped by.

5. Visualize the future of wikisocial.org.

6. If you want more info read the intro presentation on Slideshare.net. It’s only 5 pages, including cover slide, so it won’t take long. Then add yourself to the last slide “mentors and architects.”
